AGBU Manoogian-Demirdjian School (MDS)—Canoga Park

Founded in 1976, the AGBU Manoogian-Demirdjian School (MDS) started with only 18 students on the premises of St. Peter Apostolic Church. The school’s popularity grew over the years as a result of its high educational standards and the achievements of its graduates. More than 1,200 students have graduated from the high school, and the school’s college admission rate is over 90%. MDS presently has more than 850 students.

AGBU Orange County Saturday Armenian School is a positive learning environment that instills in the students and their families a feeling of pride in their Armenia heritage and a sense of belonging to the Armenian Community. The school’s curriculum focuses on reading, writing, and understanding the Armenian language and promotes and perpetuates the origin, customs, and traditions of Armenia in order to expand and give depth to the students’ understanding of Armenian culture.
