Since its establishment in 1992, the AGBU Orange County Chapter has been instrumental in preserving Armenian heritage by founding a Saturday school, coordinating Armenian Genocide commemorative events, and organizing annual family picnics, all with the mission to protect and promote Armenian culture.
The first Armenian Saturday school within the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church., the institution has provided comprehensive education to thousands of students in Armenian language, history, and culture for children aged 6-17, offering instruction in both Western and Eastern dialects.
AGBU Orange County Chapter has remained committed to educational initiatives, cultural preservation, and community engagement.

A cherished gathering for the Orange County Armenian community to connect to their Armenian heritage. For many, this signature event is a meaningful celebration of Armenian culture, a chance to pass down traditions, and an opportunity for generations to come together in a welcoming atmosphere.
Led by Gevork Martirossian, the chapter co-organizes community-wide events, bringing together various organizations and local officials to honor the memory of the victims and advocate for justice.
As passionate volunteers, we work together to create meaningful programs and events that serve our community through the support of AGBU. In collaboration with our Saturday school, we have enhanced opportunities for our community to thrive, and continue to preserve and promote Armenian cultural heritage in Orange County.
