Inspiring the community through music

Welcome to AGBU LA Choir!

A free adult choir program, AGBU Los Angeles Choir was established to inspire the community through quality Armenian music and the pursuit of artistic excellence. Choir Master, Nektar Mirakyan is a renowned conductor with an illustrious journey in classical music.

Join our vibrant choir on Tuesday evenings from 7pm to 9pm and become part of a passionate community celebrating Armenian culture through song! No professional singing experience is required—just a love for music and a desire to connect with others who share a commitment to preserving our rich heritage.

Meet Our Choir Master

Nektar Mirakyan

Her impressive career spans decades of service to the art of conducting. She embarked on her musical education at a specialized musical school, where she received extensive training in choir vocal techniques. Building on this foundation, she pursued her studies in Choir Conducting at the prestigious Yerevan State Conservatory under the guidance of Romanos Melikyan. With her captivating and emotive performances, she has become a respected figure in the classical music scene.
