 On Saturday, February 27, A.G.B.U. Manoogian-Demirdjian School welcomed 700 guests to the Beverly Hilton for its 40th Anniversary Gala organized by the Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO). The vibrant celebration united families, alumni, A.G.B.U. Central Board members, A.G.B.U. President Mr. Berge Setrakian and Mrs. Vera Setrakian, public officials, church representatives, A.G.B.U. Manoogian-Demirdjian School Board members, Education Committee members, school principals of the past and present, founders of the school, teachers, staff, and administration.

During the gala, His Eminance Archbishop Hovnan Derderian presented the St. Gregory the Illuminator medal to A.G.B.U. Vice President and longtime school board member Mr. Sinan Sinanian.

Rousing speeches were delivered by PTO President Mrs. Aline Patatian, School Board member Dr. Gabriel Arslanian, Mr. Sinan Sinanian, and Mr. Berge Setrakian. Afterward, guests enjoyed Armenian and international music.

Thank you to the countless contributions highlighting our community’s generosity, to all the members of the PTO who manifested the unimaginable in assembling a beautiful 40th Anniversary Gala.

We also wish to thank the A.G.B.U. MDS Board of Trustees and its president Mr. Sinan Sinanian for their extraordinary and prolific efforts to elevate the joy and excellence of our Armenian school.
