AGBU Pasadena-Glendale Chapter Hosts 5th Annual Armenian Fest

The AGBU Pasadena-Glendale Chapter along with the Sports Committee will host its 5th Annual Armenian Fest this coming weekend starting Friday, September 6 to Sunday, September 8 at the AGBU Vatche & Tamar Manoukian Center. This event, which is open to the public, is expected to draw many AGBU sports teams, scouts, family and friends.

The weekend is designed for the WHOLE family and there is no entrance fee!

Highlights:

  • Enjoy watching youth basketball Friday, Saturday, and Sunday!
  • Cheer on the youth Volleyball teams on Saturday!
  • Taste the delicious food prepared by the AGBU Young Ladies Committee at Bardez night, Friday, September 6,starting at 7 pm.
  • Shop at the Saturday night vendor booths.
  • On Saturday, September 7 at 8 pm, watch the sensational 2019 Disney movie “The Lion King” on the outdoor lawn with your kids, while you enjoy quintessential tacos prepared by Tacos Chihuahua.
  • Attend the closing ceremony in the gym on Sunday, September 8 at 3 pm.
  • Laugh at the closing event, Sunday, September 8, for comedy night – Kebab Komedy starring Maz Jobrani in the Vatche & Tamar Manoukian Performing Arts Center. The show also includes talented comedians Ara Basil and Michael Passion.
