The AGBU Pasadena-Glendale Sports Program kicked off its 2019-2020 season the weekend of Friday, September 6, 2019 at the 5th Annual Armenian Fest hosted by the AGBU Pasadena-Glendale Chapter. Each year, the sports program plays a huge part in the Armenian Fest weekend with a three-day tournament consisting of basketball and volleyball games with all of the sports teams. This year, there were more than 15 teams, Armenian and non-Armenian, participating in the competitive games ranging from 3rd grade to high school aged athletes.
“The games were so competitive and exciting for all. We hope to continue this type of competition for the upcoming sports season. Thank you to all of the parents for the love and support,” expressed AGBU Pasadena-Glendale Athletic Director, Khatchig Kejejian.
