Did someone say Sunday Funday? AGBU YPLA hosted a very fun mixer at the beautiful Malibu Café at Calamigos Ranch on Sunday, June 24th to welcome the start of the Summer. With many new faces in attendance, there were well over 70 attendees who made the scenic drive to join their fellow YPs for a day filled with games, drinks, and fun. The sun was shining bright as the YPs engaged in friendly competitions against each other playing life-size chess, jenga, and ping-pong. Those who wanted to take it easy had a relaxing time paddle boating at the lake, which was part of the café. Attendees were given custom YPLA hats and a list of upcoming events planned for the next couple of months.
“I moved to LA a couple of years ago and had never been to Malibu Café before. I didn’t know what to expect but I’m so surprised at how much there is to do here. This place is so cool,” expressed an attendee named Michael. Michael’s comments seemed to be the consensus among all who came to the event.
