On Sunday, May 6, 2018, the Pasadena Chapter Sport’s Committee held their annual breakfast at the Vatche and Tamar Manoukian Center’s Boyajian Hall. A delicious breakfast, carnival-style games with prizes and an annual raffle provided guests and their children with a fun and eventful morning. The Boyajian Hall was alive with the cheerfulness of 250 attendees who started their day catching up with friends, old and new.

AGBU AYA Sport’s Committee member, Vicken Hamboyan, started the event with a welcome message. Following Mr. Hamboyan, Athletic Director, Khatchig Kejejian, highlighted the current status of the sports teams and the growing numbers of participating athletes. With 8 boys’ basketball teams, 4 girls’ basketball teams, and 4 girls’ volleyball teams, the sports membership has risen to its highest point with just over 160 athletes.

The AGBU AYA Sports Committee Breakfast is the largest breakfast event, with a successful turnout every year. The 2018 breakfast was no exception as guests left with happy memories and already looking forward to next year’s event.
