Message from the Chair

April 6, 2016

Over the last few days our community has been in a state of crises as a result of the brutal aggression and attack by the Azeri forces in Artsakh. AGBU has mobilized with other community organizations in Los Angeles to address these acts of war and the victims and destruction left in its wake.

Yesterday I took part in a press conference and made a special live appearance on a four hour broadcast by Horizon TV, to inform the public of the plans made in Los Angeles, as well as share with them the work that AGBU has already begun on the ground in Armenia and Artsakh, in providing food, clothing, medical care, supplies and a core of volunteers. AGBU asks its members and donors to contribute to these efforts by donating and equally importantly sharing the news of these atrocities in their social media pages.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the brave men, women and children of Artsakh.
